The “metal welding” in the name points at the material range: this machine sets its process steps by copper, aluminium and plated materials rather than by wire gauge. With nickel- or tin-plated terminals the plating thickness changes interfacial friction, so parameters are re-qualified per plating instead of reusing bare-copper settings.
