100 sqmm is common on commercial-vehicle trunk lines and energy-storage busbars, where joints are more resistance-sensitive — after welding the contact resistance is usually measured, not just inspected visually. The larger the cross-section, the harder it is to keep even contact across the horn face, so the flatness of the sonotrode tip largely decides whether the whole bundle welds through.
